eOn Communications Corporation, Reliance Telecommunications to Provide Advanced Communications Products to Northern California, National Clients

 

Alliance to market eOn's eNterprise communications servers and software

 

Memphis, Tenn. and Hayward, Cal. - September 29, 2000 - eOn Communications Corporation(TM) (NASDAQ: EONC), a leading provider of unified voice, e-mail and Internet communications systems, has announced an expanded partnership with Reliance Telecommunications, one of Northern California's premier suppliers of voice and data communications systems. Reliance Telecommunications will now market, install and service eOn's newest line of communications systems, servers and software, including the eNterprise communications server and the Web Center software suite, in addition to the Millennium® digital switching platform and the eOn Voice Processing System (eVPS) with Unified Messaging.

 

The eOn eNterprise is a next generation private communications exchange (PCX) platform that enables businesses to consolidate and manage voice, e-mail and Web applications in a single unified system. The eNterprise is based on the open standards Linux(TM) operating system and provides the exceptional reliability, flexibility, scalability and interoperability required for the most demanding business applications.
